The Emergency Plan - Activated

Man fell and all of creation watched. Satan had started his assault on Christ by attacking the ones He loved the most. But, God had a plan. A plan which  existed the moment man was created. A plan which was activated the moment Adam sinned.

A sacrifice had to be made – a blood sacrifice. Death was experienced for the first time in the garden of Eden. The blood of an innocent had to be spilled to atone for the sin of man. “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them”Gen.3:21.

Where do you think these skins came from?  Do you think they appeared out of thin air?

No! An innocent animal had to be sacrificed so that man can be cleaned.

Who do you think had to kill this animal? God? No. The sinner Adam himself.

“let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.

And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

And he shall kill the bullock before the LORD:...” Lev.1:3-5.

So the first blood was shed IN the HOLY of HOLIES. In the presence of God.  In the Garden of Eden. Man was evicted from Eden and had to start his perilous journey back to God. Satan and his angels would do anything to make sure that we get lost in body and soul. He would make sure that man forgot its roots. He would make sure that man forgot his rightful inheritance. He would make sure that man forgot that he was created to be at the right hand of God.

MAN WAS LOST. Or so it seemed.
