"Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden. And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat." Gen 3:1-6
Eve was tempted into coveting the forbidden fruit, breaking the tenth Commandment. When Adam saw that she had done this, he was saddened, for he loved Eve with all his heart. He remembered what God had told him would happen if they should eat from this tree "1Ti 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.". But his heart was aching because he did not want to loose Eve.She was crafted by the hand of God himself and therefore the most beautiful creature he had ever seen. So "he did eat", and man fell.'The news of man's fall spread through heaven. Every harp was hushed. The angels cast their crowns from their heads in sorrow. All heaven was in agitation. A council was held to decide what must be done with the guilty pair. The angels feared that they would put forth the hand, and eat of the tree of life, and become immortal sinners. But God said that He would drive the transgressors from the garden. Angels were immediately commissioned to guard the way of the tree of life. It had been Satan's studied plan that Adam and Eve should disobey God, receive His frown, and then partake of the tree of life, that they might live forever in sin and disobedience, and thus sin be immortalized. But holy angels were sent to drive them out of the garden, and to bar their way to the tree of life. Each of these mighty angels had in his right hand

something which had the appearance of a glittering sword.
Then Satan triumphed. He had made others suffer by his fall. He had been shut out of heaven, they out of Paradise.' E.G. White Early Writings - The Fall of Man
Man was doomed. Eve broke the tenth Commandment and Adam the first. But Jesus, through his love for us, took it upon Himself to come to this planet so that He could take the penalty of death on our behalf, giving us this sacred promise
"1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."
So many christians have forsaken this promise. Many believe that the Sabbath is not of importance and that any day can be used as a holy day to rest in the love of our Father. The problem is that the Sabbath is the 4th Commandment and Jesus said in Mat 5:19 "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. "
Jesus came to this planet because the sacred COMMANDMENTS were broken, and now christians say that keeping the Sabbath Day does not matter. That interpreted means that the sacrifice He made does not matter.
He loves us and wants to be reunited with us. But how can He if we are not willing to acknowledge His creation. For in part the Sabbath was given to us as a rememberence and a celebration of His handy work. It is a day put aside like no other so that we may rest in the peace and love of God. It is a day blessed and hallowed by God. And by keeping all of the Commandments and having the testimony of Christ Jesus we will "have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. "Rev 22:14
